About Aberdares National Park

At Aberdares National Park, there is just plenty to see. From elephants, giant forest hog, black rhinos, mountain reedbuck, leopards, cape buffalo, spotted hyenas, bongo, olive baboons, duikers, black and white colobus monkey, suni, warthogs, side-stipe jackal, bushbucks and many others. Birds of diverse formation graciously wallow the sky. From the eagles, sunbirds, sparry hawk, goshawks, plovers, Aberdare cisticola, to over 250 different species.

    There is equally the rising and falling of mountains into fantastic V-shaped valleys, and the water falls drum the rhythms on nature. The view from the Ark and Treetops is an excellent nighttime viewing that is filled with the noticing of various animals like elephants, buffalos, rhinos and lions who seek to drink in the attractive waterholes.

 

Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdares

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and depart for Aberdares arriving with a short game drive at hotel in Nyeri. check in and have lunch. Afternoon game drive across Aberdares park, Later dinner and overnight.

 

About Samburu National Park

The Park was established in 1948. It is located about 350 kilometers from Nairobi. This is the place to be if you want you would like to witness pure Kenyan culture as you enjoy the view of the animals. Animals like the Grevys’ zebra, Tanzanian cheetah, Masai lion, reticulated giraffe, elephants and buffaloes are in this Park. The Park contains over 50 species of animals. Bird life is also in plenty with over 450 species like the Grey-headed Kingfisher, Bee-eater, Sunbird, Marabou stork and the Horn-bill. Waso Nyiro River is also a major attraction to tourists as it holds numerous aquatic species like the crocodile and the hippos, as well as other animals coming to drink water.

    There are over 20 plant species in samburu National Park but the dominant plant species include the Acacia Elator, Down Palms and the Salva Dora Pesica. 

    The Samburu people are purely cultural and very colorful. The samburu women usually have a neck that is encircled all round with beads and their chins are painted with red ochre. The samburu men  also wear a cloth that is often black and is wrapped around their waist. Tourists are well accommodated by samburu people in samburu national reserve, friendly people as they love visitors. They will dance with you some traditional folk songs and give you very sweet traditional Samburu food. 

 

Day 2: Aberdares - Samburu
Early breakfast at your hotel, short game en-route, Leave Aberdare for Samburu arriving with a short game drive in time for lunch and check in at Lodge or Camp and have lunch and relax. Later afternoon game drive across the park which is a unique resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich . Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 3: Samburu
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp in Samburu reserve.

 

About Lake Nakuru National Park

There are millions of flamingoes and few wild animals such as white rhinos, gazelle, warthog, and lion among others. The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the few Great Rift Valley attractions in Kenya that have the potential to hold a large number of birds. The place has alkaline water ecosystem that suits other bird species such as European winter, black winged stilts, and avocets in which can be great experience. During courtship, a group of upto 10 individuals hold their heads and neck high and call to one another.

    They then move the head side to side. Over the next several minutes, the rhythm increases and other members join in the frenzy, which can reach up to 50 individuals. It is one of the magnificent displays that everyone needs to experience. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the habitats around the lake systems attract a wealth of large mammals like rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard and provides one of the best areas in Kenya for bird watching.

 

Day 4: Samburu - Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast game en-route leave samburu for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in at Lodge . Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight.

 

About Masai Mara

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara;
Early morning breakfast . After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai mara arrivingin time for lunch. check in at booked Camp or Lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and a visit to Mara River . Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or luxury tented camp.

 

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the Maasai Mara in search of the big 5- Optional early morning balloon safari or a tour of the Maasai Village can be arranged at an extra cost.The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

 

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
