Day 1 - Arrive Nairobi 
Upon your arrival at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta international airport, met and transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel. Dinner not included in the safari programme at the Hotel. Overnight at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

 

About Amboseli National Park

With the various attractions that everyone wants to experience the thrill that comes from the game drives and watching animals in their territory, Amboseli National Park is a great place to visit. The National Park offers the one of the best African wildlife adventure experience when it comes to the wide range of wildlife species, as well as the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants. Other animals in the park are; giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hyena, lions, cheetahs, impala and even jackals among others.

    Amboseli National Park also has a variety of birds. The Park offers one of the best sunset and sunrise views as it faces Mount Kilimanjaro. The view of the mountain is beautiful as it generates the water springs that makes the Park very attractive. The Amboseli National Park is surrounded by the Maasai community, who are known to embrace their culture which attracts many people into our country Kenya. The lodges are also beautiful and after the game drive one can enjoy their food and good services.


Day2 - Nairobi to Amboseli
Early morning wake up call, followed by room service tea/coffee’s at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. 06h45 depart for Nairobi Wilson Airport to connect the scheduled flight for Amboseli airstrip to depart at 07h30 to arrive at 08h15. Met on arrival and transferred to Amboseli Serena Safari lodge for breakfast and check in. Then continue on morning game viewing drives in the Amboseli. Lunch at the lodge, followed by afternoon game viewing drives. Dinner and Overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.


Day 3 - Amboseli
Breakfast at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park. Lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drive filled with excitement and comfort. Don’t be surprised to find elephants dining on plants or variety of wildlife drinking water at the lodge-floodlit waterhole. From the smallest to the largest mammals, you will find them in this National Park. This evening a bush barbecue dinner will be organised for you excluding beverages but including Masai tribal dancers. Overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

 

About Samburu National Park

The Park was established in 1948. It is located about 350 kilometers from Nairobi. This is the place to be if you want you would like to witness pure Kenyan culture as you enjoy the view of the animals. Animals like the Grevys’ zebra, Tanzanian cheetah, Masai lion, reticulated giraffe, elephants and buffaloes are in this Park. The Park contains over 50 species of animals. Bird life is also in plenty with over 450 species like the Grey-headed Kingfisher, Bee-eater, Sunbird, Marabou stork and the Horn-bill. Waso Nyiro River is also a major attraction to tourists as it holds numerous aquatic species like the crocodile and the hippos, as well as other animals coming to drink water.

    There are over 20 plant species in samburu National Park but the dominant plant species include the Acacia Elator, Down Palms and the Salva Dora Pesica. 

    The Samburu people are purely cultural and very colorful. The samburu women usually have a neck that is encircled all round with beads and their chins are painted with red ochre. The samburu men  also wear a cloth that is often black and is wrapped around their waist. Tourists are well accommodated by samburu people in samburu national reserve, friendly people as they love visitors. They will dance with you some traditional folk songs and give you very sweet traditional Samburu food. 

 

Day 4 - Amboseli to Nairobi onto Samburu

Breakfast at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. 08h30 depart on the scheduled flight from Amboseli airstrip to Nairobi Wilson Airport to arrive at 09h15 depart on Airkenya scheduled flight from Nairobi for Samburu to arrive at 10h30. Met on arrival and continue on morning game viewing in the Samburu Game Reserve – the Kenya’s rugged, semi-arid of the Northern Eastern Province. Lunch at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drives in the game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge.

 

Day 5 - Samburu
Breakfast at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. After breakfast morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the Samburu game reserve. The surrounding terrain is renowned for rare game, long necked gerrunuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx. Leopard is the frequent passer-by. Game drives and bird watching safaris are the ideal way to experience the native wildlife in its natural splendour. Meals and Overnight at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge.

 

About Masai Mara

Day 6 - Samburu to Masai Mara
Breakfast at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. 09h15 depart from the Samburu Airstrip on the scheduled flight for Mara Serena to arrive at 10h45. Met on arrival and continue on morning game viewing drives in the Masai Mara game reserve. Lunch at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drives in the Masai Mara game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

 

Day 7 - Masai Mara
A full day at the Masai Mara game reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Lunch, dinner and Overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

 

Day 8 - Masai Mara to Nairobi
Early morning wake up followed by breakfast. 07h30 depart for Nairobi arriving in time for Lunch, Lunch at Carnevore afterwards transfer to Airport for flight to Mombasa.Upon arrival pick up and transfer to Serena Beach Hotel for 5 Days Beach Hotel Stay.

 

Day 8 to Day 12
Serena Beach Hotel. Accomodation on Half Board.

 

Day 12:
After Breakfast Pick Up and Drive to Airport for a Flight Back Home.
