About Lake Nakuru National Park

There are millions of flamingoes and few wild animals such as white rhinos, gazelle, warthog, and lion among others. The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the few Great Rift Valley attractions in Kenya that have the potential to hold a large number of birds. The place has alkaline water ecosystem that suits other bird species such as European winter, black winged stilts, and avocets in which can be great experience. During courtship, a group of upto 10 individuals hold their heads and neck high and call to one another.

Day 1: Nairobi Transfer to Lake Nakuru

2 Hours 30 minutes: Travel time to Lake Nakuru

7.30a.m: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel and depart for Lake Nakuru. Arrive at 1100 hrs at the park and have a short game drive as you head to the lodge or camp for lunch.

1400-1600 hours: Relaxation by the pool area

1600-1800 hours: Game drive

Overnight at the Waterbuck Hotel/Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

About Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha has an average depth of 6 meters. A gorge along the lake forms an entrance to Hell’s Gate National Park, which contains some spectacular examples of water and weather-worn rock features as well as a great variety of flora and fauna. There is plenty of wildlife in the lake such as hippos, crocodiles as well as over four hundred different species of birds including cormorant, pelican, fish eagles. It has a healthy population of fish, which includes Tilapia, Black bass, and Crayfish which attract a variety of fish-eating birds.

    The landscape around this lake is quite beautiful, make a trip to the place and expect one of the best touring experiences in a lifetime. You can have a boat ride for hours enjoying the close lake view of hippos and birds; ride along the island to see the different types of wildlife such as giraffes grazing. The crater game sanctuary provides a peaceful and quiet environment. Day 2: Lake Nakuru Transfer to Lake Naivasha

1 Hour 30 minutes: Travel time to Lake Naivasha

0700 hrs: Have breakfast then depart for Lake Naivasha.

1000 Hrs: Arrive at the lodge or camp and relax. Later have lunch.

1400 Hrs -1600 hours: Enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island or a game drive at Hells Gate.

Overnight at the Crayfish Camp/Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge/Lake Naivasha Country Club

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 3: Lake Naivasha Nairobi (Drop off)

0700 -1100hours: Have breakfast and relax by the pool area till mid-morning

1100-1300 hours: Travel time between Lake Naivasha and Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will have lunch at Carnivore Restaurant before being dropped off at a hotel of your choice.
